WELCOME SPEECH BY DIRECTOR

Honorable CHIEF GUEST of today’s ceremony Shri K. C. Rathor, GUEST OF HONOR Shri Sunil Dandir, and Shri Shyam Rathor, Prof. T.R.D.Sinha, Dr. S.P.Sarna, Principals of TCST & TIP, Dear Professors, students, and staff members of Truba Group of Institutions, Bhopal Campus. At the outset, I welcome you all on the occasion of Republic Day Celebration and wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year.

Today, we have assembled here to pay homage to those great people who laid down their lives to ensure that their future generations breathed in air of freedom and lived in yoke-less dignity. We also pay heartfelt tribute to the leaders, who participated in the struggle of freedom and also to the framers of the Constitution.

Though we achieved Independence in 1947 the Constitution came into force from 26th January 1950. Since then, we celebrate this day as Republic Day every year. It is because of our hard working and talented youth, that our country has achieved status of fast developing country in the world. Thus everybody can contribute to the progress of our country; be it through mental, physical or economical means.

On this occasion, I would like to thank you all, for I have been able to work here for more than five years, and could become a Campus Director from HOD CSE. This could only be possible due to the whole-hearted support extended to me by all of you. With your commendable support and efforts, Truba Group of Institutions is upgraded with almost latest infrastructures and facilities, required by an elite technical institute. We must accept the fact that, we have everything of the so called good institute level, except little bit in the mindset. So, this is the high time to change our mindset, so that academic activities are given prime importance at every moment in the campus - a vibrant campus.

During 5 years, some of the activities, facilities and infrastructure, by which, we have added / enhanced strength to ourselves are:

• NBA Accreditation of B.E. CSE/EC/and IT courses.
• Association with IBM, TCS, Hexaware, and Sonalika International.
• Publication of yearly News Letter; stating/depicting the technical know-how and the development within the campus. Soon we are going to publish half yearly News Letter.
• Regular Departmental meetings with HODs on every working Saturdays and regular HODs meeting with Director, to have common consensus and smooth administration.
• Weekly meeting of Tutor Guardian with their students to solve their problems and for better follow-up.
• Decentralization of work at Director level and Departmental level for better team building and team work.
• With MIS facility, we are moving toward paperless administration.
• Active web-site of the group to promote our group at global level.
• Use of smart-card for identity & book transaction.
• Every fortnight, common follow-up at Department level in P. G. Courses for dissertation work that leads to R & D work.
• Stability in Academic Calendar and other activities such as Truba Utsav, Tech- Drishti and Sports.
• Extra good placement in leading industries.
• Additional platforms for the personality development & technical skills development of the students like CSI student Chapter, IETE Student Chapter, SPIC MACAY, Industry Institute Partnership Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Research & Product Development Cell.
• Establishment of most modern Central Computer Centre of 120 computers with full power back-up.
• 20 Mbps leased line internet connection and ample number of latest computers to have good access with the world.
• Construction of modern Seminar Halls with the capacity of 180 students.
• Central Auditorium with the capacity of more than 1000 persons.
• Very beautiful & Hygienic Canteen.
• Beautiful campus with roads.
• NSS programs and blood donation camps.    And many more……………………….

At last on this sacred and fine day, let us think that...

How can we inculcate our culture, moral values & discipline among our students?

AND overall how can we lift the TRUBA to greater heights?

So that we can contribute the best youth and a best institute to the Nation.
