Meet My Team TCST

Message From Head of Department

The department offers a  4 year course, B.Tech. in Computer Sc. & Engineering.

Our graduates have distinguished themselves in higher studies at the top Universities. They also occupy positions of eminence in the computer industry. Our Alumni remain in constant touch with us and are contributing in the development of the department. Placements for our graduates are the best in the Institute. The faculty members of the department have international experience and training.

The department has all the facilities to carry out the related teaching and research work.

There are various cautiously chosen programs in which students learn about the theoretical and practical aspects of computer engineering, the mathematical foundations of computing, and computer hardware and software development techniques. Classes in these programs cover topics like operating systems concepts, artificial intelligence, database systems, programming languages, electronic circuits, and software engineering.

Message From Head of Department

Welcome to the Department of Communication at Texas A&M University.  I chose to join the department as a faculty member because I was impressed with the quality and drive of the faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students and their commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service.  As Department Head, I continue to be inspired by my colleagues and our students as we generate research that makes a difference and prepare our students to pursue their professional careers and become productive citizens.

Our undergraduate program has more than 1200 majors pursuing either a B.A. in Communication, a B.A. in Telecommunication, or a B.S. in Telecommunication.  To help prepare our undergraduate students for the changing job market, we recently added four certificates for undergraduate students:

  • Communication and Global Media
  • Communication Leadership and Conflict
  • Health Communication
  • Strategic Communication

Message From Head of Department

This branch of engineering develops everyday devices such as transistors, integrated circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs) .

The discipline deals with electronic devices and software interfaces. The applications are far reaching, right from the indoors of the house to industries. The tasks of the Electronics and Communication engineers are to direct, control and test produce processes a well as to ensure safety, installation and functioning of the various mechanisms.

Our aim is to address the pressing needs of India and other developing countries in the area of telecom/networking by market-driven product development, strengthening of Indian telecom/networking Industry, technical training and education and driving the Indian telecom/IT policy.

Vision of the team of highly affiliated faculty members is to make India a telecom design house of international standard.

Message From Head of Department

Mechanical Engineering is one of the major activities in the engineering profession and its principles are involved in the design, study, development and construction of nearly all of the physical devices and systems. Continued research and development have led to better machines and processes helping the mankind. Mechanical engineering is a diverse subject that derives its breadth from the need to design and manufacture everything from small individual parts and devices

The role of a mechanical engineer is to take a product from an idea to the marketplace. In order to accomplish this, a broad range of skills are needed. The mechanical engineer needs to acquire particular skills and knowledge. Perhaps the one skill that is the mechanical engineer’s exclusive domain is the ability to analyze and design objects and systems with motion.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Truba is as old as the Institute itself. Its impact on the institute and on society is easily demonstrated by noting the alignment of the department’s evolution with key events and technological advances in the India and elsewhere.

Message From Head of Department

The major objective of the department is to enhance the thinking process of the students and make them adaptable to the technical environment. It offers an opportunity to B.E students to develop a deeper understanding of rapidly changing technology through combination of theoretical and experimental study.

“Communication-skills” is a compulsory subject for all the first year students in the department of Humanities. An ultra modern Oral Digital Language Lab is set-up to cater for a batch of 30 students. The students are trained in all the skills as well as in grooming of their personality. It also focuses on the production and practice of accurate sounds of English language. Results so far, have been extremely encouraging.
