Prof. Fatema Ahmed is associated with TRUBA Institute of Engineering & Information Technology as an Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science & Engineering since January 2020. She has completed Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering in 2017 and Master of Technology in Advanced Computing from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in 2019. She is having experience in doing IoT based projects. She has mentored IoT projects of Bachelor Students of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. She has also lead a project titled ‘MANIT Surveillance System’ that was funded by the Director, MANIT.

Her subjects of interest include core departmental domains like Analysis & Design of Algorithms, Data Structures, Theory of Computation, Compilers, Computer Networking, Operating Systems and advanced subjects like Machine Learning, Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.

Her other technical skills include programming of IoT based devices, data mining through Python and other programming languages like Java, My SQL, C++.

The subjects that she had taught in recent times include Machine Learning, Soft Computing and Artificial Intelligence.

  • She has qualified GATE 2017 98.7 percentile and all India 1920 rank.
  • She has qualified CBSE – UGC NET in January 2017 (Assistant Professor).
  • She has done Microsoft Technology Associate certification in Database Administration.
  • She has attended a 10 days training module on PL-Sql certified by ORACLE.
  • “A Survey on Security Issues and Challenges in IoT Based Smart Home”, Proceedings of 3rd International Conference on Internet of Things and Connected Technologies (ICIoTCT), 2018 held at Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (India) on March 26-27, 2018.
  • Implementation Paper accepted to be presented in 5th International Conference on Internet of Things.
